Astana head coach Oleg Kiselev commented after the VTB United League second stage regular season match in Samara.

- The comment will be short: we gave Samara too many open shots in the first half, and too many times, we allowed them to beat us on the perimeter easily. We didn't have enough energy that we needed. We changed our defense and mindset in the second half and played well. But the handicap that Samara created in the first half was enough for them to win. I would like to note that we made only 8 losses — in my opinion, this is our record. Usually, this is our problem, but today we surpassed ourselves in this aspect.
