Astana is about to play its final two home games in the United VTB League against Avtodor (March 9) and Samara (March 13).
The clubs from Saratov and Samara are serious opponents, fighting for a spot in the playoffs of the United VTB League. However, Oleg Kiselev's team will do everything to please the capital's fans with a new home victory.
After the two-game home series, Astana will play away all remaining matches against Avtodor, Enisey, PARMA-PARI, and Minsk.
Therefore, we are all looking forward to as many fans as possible in the stands of the new venue — the Palace of Martial Arts, named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov, where both final home matches in the United VTB League will take place.
This arena was opened in 2019. The building has a triangular shape symbolizing a soaring golden eagle.
Astana already played some home games here in 2020.
In addition to the match itself, we, as always, have prepared exciting activities for fans: during the big break in the game against Avtodor, the audience will have a chance to sing karaoke with the Italian musician and author of the hit «Zhanym Sol» — Son Pascal himself. The game against Samara will be no less interesting, so we look forward to seeing all basketball fans at the games on these warm March days!
