The preseason friendly tournament «Primatov Cup» has ended in Samara.
Despite losing to the home team, «Astana» faced «Uralmash» in the match for third place. Although the game, just like the first match, was exciting and the teams went neck to neck, the newcomers of the VTB United League managed to secure a victory.
The standout players for the capital club were Royce Hamm (21 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists) and Carvell Anderson (16 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists).
After the match, Carvell was named the best player of «Astana» in the tournament and was awarded a commemorative prize.
Now, Oleg Kiselev's team will return to the capital of Kazakhstan, where they will continue preparing for the upcoming VTB United League season. The first match will take place on October 14th when «Zenit» visits Astana.
