Pavel Sonnov and Astana agree on one-year contract extension

The 18-year-old centre started last season with Astana’s youth team, Astana Zhastar, playing 16 games and averaging 1.4 points per game. He later joined the roster for the Kazakhstan National League, where he appeared in 8 games.
