The Games of the Future Abu Dhabi 2025 have come to a close in the UAE capital, bringing together sport, digital competition, and innovation over six intense days. The final day not only crowned the winners, but also marked a symbolic handover to Kazakhstan, which will host the next edition of the Games in Astana in 2026.
Sixteen teams from different countries competed in the phygital basketball tournament, a fast-growing format that combines a digital stage with live 3x3 action on the court. The level of competition was high throughout, with every game demanding focus, adaptability, and teamwork.
