Basketball Club Astana and Yakov Fokin have parted ways by mutual agreement. Mikhail Lonshakov has been appointed Acting Head Coach of the Astana-Zhastar team.
Yakov Valeryevich joined the team on 1 August 2025. Under his leadership, the youth squad played 32 games and earned several important victories, including an away win over Avtodor-2 and home wins against Enisey-2 and UNICS-2.
BC Astana thanks Yakov Valeryevich for his service and wishes him success in his future professional career.
