PBC Astana have booked their spot in the playoff stage of the FIBA West Asia Super League.
After the group stage, the Kazakh club finished in the top four and will keep competing for the WASL title. Joining Astana in the playoffs are Al Riyadi, Sagesse SC, and Shardari Gorgan. The final standings — and therefore the semi-final matchups — will be confirmed after the last regular-season game between Sagesse SC and Shardari Gorgan on 5 March.
The playoffs begin on 25 March with best-of-three semi-final series. Under the updated format, the No. 1 team will face No. 4, while the No. 2 and No. 3 teams meet in the other semi-final.
The best-of-three finals are set to start on 16 April, with the third-place game scheduled for 15 April.
Reaching the playoffs in their first WASL season is a major milestone for Astana — and the team now turns its full attention to the decisive stretch of the tournament. Thank you to our fans for the support — we’ll see you in the playoffs!
