Basketball Club Astana welcomed children from the Akmola Region Children’s Support Centre to Game 1 of the Kazakhstan National League Finals, inviting the youth basketball team from Akkol to be part of a special evening at the arena.
The initiative was held in partnership with Astana’s general partner, Samruk-Kazyna JSC, and the club’s partner, the Tourism and Sports Industry Support Foundation.
Astana hosted Caspiy from Aktau in the opening game of the finals series. For the children, the trip to the capital was a chance to support the team in one of the biggest games of the season and experience the atmosphere of a championship final in person.
At halftime, Astana CEO Samson Arakelyan met with the young guests and presented them with gifts from the club.
The visit gave the children more than a seat at the game — it gave them a chance to feel part of the Astana basketball community. They cheered from the stands throughout the evening, adding their own energy and helping create a warm, memorable atmosphere in the arena.
