The tournament will be held in Ahmedabad, India, from 13–23 August and will feature 14 of Asia’s top national teams. Kazakhstan has been drawn into Group D alongside Japan, Korea and host nation India.
The call-up follows Kazakhstan’s successful CABA U18 Qualifiers campaign earlier this year, where the team secured its place at the continental championship. Mamutov was named the tournament’s MVP, while Aubakirov received the award for Best Centre after an outstanding tournament.
